PTM INSTALLATION

Because PTM runs on various platforms, we have two (2) sets of installation
instructions here. One for UNIX (linux, BeOS, etc.) based platform installs
and one for Microsoft Win32 based installations.

I say "Win32" instead of "Windows" simply because, sorry, we don't have a 64-bit
machine just sitting around to test on, lol.

You may select your installation type from the menu.

NOTE:

  Select the version of the machine you are planning to INSTALL on -- not
  necessarily the OS you are currently running. For example, even if you are
  running Microsoft Windows XP at home, if your host's server is running
  something like Fedora linux, choose the UNIX instructions, as the Win32
  instructions won't help you much.
